Ankeny Residence II

With an impressive home like this one in Ankeny, Iowa, the Perficut team knew that the outdoor space needed to be equally show stopping. The project included extensive hardscaping, including custom-cut stone surrounding the pool deck, fountains, planters, trim and more. All of the stone was cut specifically for the project and placed for maximum visual impact. Perficut not only created the plans for this large-scale project but also managed the execution of custom elements like a retractable pool covering that is hidden beneath the deck’s stone pavers.

The planters surrounding the yard were chosen to match the style of the home and include custom drainage solutions for the juniper trees inside them. The entire backyard has a custom drainage system designed to catch runoff on the patio and divert it to its own intake system.

The entire project has flush, under-mount lighting that provides a soft, downcast glow to the space at night. The backyard is also fully wired with an in-ground surround sound system that can be controlled remotely via smart device.
