The Avenues of Ingersoll and Grand

3-mile Block

Perficut supports The Avenues of Ingersoll and Grand to help the Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District (SSMID) to achieve their goal to create and sustain a clean, safe, beautiful, and healthy environment within the district. Spanning from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway to 42nd St. in Des Moines, this initiative draws inspiration from renowned landscape architect Douglas Hoerr, celebrated for his iconic median planters on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Hoerr is also the landscape designer of the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates garden.

“We are proud to partner with Perficut to keep our district clean, safe, and beautiful! Our commercial, cultural, and residential corridor is unique and often requires a specialized, custom approach from block-to-block. Perficut has risen to meet this challenge effortlessly. Perficut team members are communicative, thorough, and reliable. Their work is always completed in a timely manner, and we’ve noticed a major positive improvement in the health and appearance of our plant material after Perficut took over care of our district.”
