When the owners of a new apartment development near Des Moines’ East Village approached Perficut with a unique challenge, our team jumped at the chance to help. To create a engaging outdoor experience, our team used green roof trays to build a relaxing communal space. In order to install these materials, two members of our team became Accredited Green Roof Professionals by earning their certification through Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

The floating paver flooring Perficut installed throughout the courtyard covers built-in irrigation that runs to all the landscaped beds. This method not only creates a system that is functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Perficut selected sedum as a low maintenance and hearty covering for the area. In fact, 4,100-square-feet of sedum was custom-grown in eastern Iowa specifically for this site.
